FAQ
The questions that come up on every first call.
Answered here at the length they deserve, including the ones with an inconvenient answer. A question a buyer has to ask twice is one the site should have answered once.
General
- Will clients know they are talking to an AI?
- Yes, and deliberately so. The agent identifies itself as your automated assistant in its first message. In practice people care far more that someone answered at all than that a machine typed it — and the moment they ask for a person, the conversation is handed to whoever is on duty with the transcript attached.
- What stops it from saying something wrong?
- The agent works from a playbook you approve: the questions it may ask, the prices it may state, the regions you serve, and a hard list of things it must never do. Anything outside that list ends the same way — it books a human. You can read every transcript and adjust the playbook from the same screen.
- Do we have to change our WhatsApp number?
- No. LeadRush connects to the WhatsApp Business number your clients already message, through Meta's official API — you keep the number, the history and the verified name. Setup is a few minutes in your own Meta account, and nothing about how clients reach you changes.
- Can we try it before we pay?
- Yes. Choosing Starter or Growth starts 7 free days with everything switched on. Your card is confirmed up front and nothing is charged that day; the first payment falls on day 8. Cancel from your billing page before then and you pay nothing. The free days are once per account.
- How long does setup take?
- The first channel is usually live within ten minutes and a full rollout takes about a week — most of which is you reviewing the playbook. Managed customers get the configuration built for them from a recording of how their team currently qualifies leads.
- What counts as a conversation?
- One thread with one client, however many messages it takes. A client who messages on Monday and again on Thursday about the same job is one conversation, not two.
- Is this compliant with GDPR and the WhatsApp rules?
- WhatsApp runs on the official Business API, so the number your clients message is never at risk, and the agent only ever replies inside Meta's rules — including the 24-hour window, outside which it uses templates Meta has approved. Data is stored in the EU and a signed DPA is available. Ask us about retention and deletion and we will handle it directly; automated retention controls are on the roadmap, not in the product today.
- Does it handle missed calls and website enquiries too?
- Not yet — that is what we are building next. Today LeadRush answers WhatsApp, which is where most enquiries already arrive. Missed-call text-back is the next channel, followed by website contact forms. Both will use the same agent and the same playbook you set up now, so nothing you configure today is wasted.
By industry
Qualification is not the same job in every trade, and neither are the objections. Each industry page answers the two questions only that trade asks.
Still unanswered
Billing questions are answered on the pricing page, the contractual ones on the terms page, and everything about personal data in the privacy policy. Anything else, ask on the demo call.
Bring us last month’s unanswered messages. We will show you what was in them.
Twenty minutes, screen shared, your own WhatsApp number. We connect it live and let the agent answer the next message that arrives.
